Manchester United have settled into their pre-season schedule in the United States, having already played, and won, two friendlies against LA Galaxy and Real Salt Lake ahead of a further three fixtures in the country.

Those next three games will come against much more formidable opponents in the International Champions Cup, pitting them against heated rivals Manchester City and both Real Madrid and Barcelona.

The Red Devils wrap up their US tour on July 26 against Barcelona before heading to Norway to play Tippeligaen outfit Valerenga on July 30.

Jose Mourinho’s final chance to see his troops in action before the season proper takes place in Dublin for a meeting with Sampdoria at Aviva Stadium.

Jose Mourinho provided a transfer update from a press conference in Houston, Texas, where he claimed that he is not yet satisfied with the club’s movement in the market.

“Our squad is not so big. Everybody knows, because I told the objective, I would like four players and I have asked for four players, and I am ready to go from four to three because the market is difficult,” said Mourinho.

United offered €45 million (£40 million) plus add-ons, which was turned down by the Italians, who are believed to be willing to negotiate if Anthony Martial is included in the deal.
