Mohamed Salah is having an amazing first year at Liverpool FC this year and is looking like the best transfer in the Premier League this season. Over the weekend Salah scored his 32nd goal of the season helping Liverpool defeat Newcastle 2-0. Many have noticed the Egyptian’s stellar play including Liverpool great Steven Gerrard. “He obviously signed him as a very dangerous attacking player, but he was more of a wide player,” Gerrard told BT Sport. “I think the manager and the coaching staff have evolved his game as more of a striker. He’s picking up positions like a number nine now. “He’s getting into the box more and receiving in the box more, and he’s getting more shots off in dangerous positions – and that’s the reason why his goal return is fantastic.”
If Salah continues this stellar play he will make a strong argument for the the PFA player of the season award.
