Theo Hernandez gets in the face of Neymar in Alaves’ clash with Barcelona back in February, and he will do so once again in his last appearance for El Glorioso in the Copa del Rey Final.

The 19-year-old has plied his trade on loan at Deportivo Alaves this season, where he has accumulated 34 starts and one goal from left-back.

Hernandez, a French under 20 international and the brother of Atletico player Lucas Hernandez, was also coveted by Barcelona but ultimately chose the Santiago Bernabeu as his destination for next season.

Best described as an explosive full-back who loves to bomb forward into opposition territory with pace and purpose, Hernandez will make a solid understudy of himself to Marcelo.

Real Madrid will officially announce the signing after the Copa del Rey Final on May 27th, when Hernandez’s Alaves take on Barcelona.
